My journey into this work has been rooted in my own personal challenges around anxiety, lack of coping skills, and a core belief in not being good enough. I have been on a wellness journey for over 10 years, and in learning how to heal myself, I have been able to help restore balance, healing and guide my clients to living out a life where they accept nothing less than the best for themselves.

This level of happiness and peace was not always my reality, however. I lived my life plagued with anxiety, high stress, and a weak immune system for most of my 20’s. After multiple medical exams, I had several doctors ask me “what about your life is so stressful?” because it was evident I had no underlying medical problems. I had basically introduced such high levels of anxiety into my body based on negative thoughts, old narratives, low self-worth, and intergenerational trauma, that my body was always in stress mode, or “fight or flight”. I knew I had to work on this area in my life: After all I was in graduate school to become a social worker, and help advocate for, and HEAL others!

I took this very seriously, and through mindfulness practices, personal therapy and coaching — as well as developing my intuition and somatic awareness — I began to restore my well-being. I can proudly say I now operate from a growth-mindset, one of abundance, and one where my dreams become a reality. I am not naive to the work that is involved in making a vision on paper materialize. However, through my work, I have become skilled at recognizing when the barrier keeping me from a desire is fear-based. This mindset, and the work involved is at the core of my approach as a therapist and life-coach.
